Fall Decorating

I love the change of seasons, and Fall happens to be my absolute favorite season. I love everything about it- all things pumpkin spice, the beautiful colors of the leaves, the cooler weather (when I can wear my sweaters and boots) and bonfires with s’mores.

 And did I mention that I love to decorate for each and every season? It makes my heart so happy to transform my home! I truly believe that I should have went into Interior design, I love it that much. Instead, it has always been a hobby to decorate my home and I love how it makes everyone feel when they walk through the door. In my opinion,  home should be your happy place. A safe place to land. A place to relax.  A place to be creative and dream. A place that holds many memories. As a Mom of three children, I try to create a place that is so special, that when they leave, they will always want to come home.  

Most of my favorite memories when I was a child, are of holidays.  My Mom loved to cook and always made our favorite dinners for birthdays, and would bake our favorite treats for each and every holiday. My love of cooking and decorating definitely come from her. She is my inspiration.  

My husband and I are all about holiday traditions, and even as our kids get older, they still love to celebrate and do all the things. Which needless to say, brings me so much joy.  I hope when they have their own families, they will pass on our family traditions.
