Salsa

This recipe is so delicious in the summer, when everything is fresh and in season. When not in season, I will use vine-ripened tomatoes from the grocery store, so that I can make fresh salsa year around.   If you don't have fresh cilantro on hand, you can use a drop or two of cilantro vitality essential oil instead.  This recipe is a bit hot, because my family loves everything hot and spicy. If you want a milder salsa, then use only 1 jalapeño  and use cubanelle peppers, instead of Anaheim peppers.  This Salsa recipe is a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients:

6 medium tomatoes

2 Anaheim or cubanelle peppers

1-2 jalapeños

4 garlic cloves

1 onion

2 small limes

1-2 drops lime vitality essential oil

1 bunch of fresh cilantro

sea salt, to taste

Directions:

Add peppers, garlic and onion in food processor and pulse until roughly chopped. Add tomatoes, cilantro, lime, lime vitality, and salt.  Pulse until combined to desired consistency.

Serve with tortilla chips.
